· If a product is not logged correctly, suspicion will fall on the person who handled the products and this could lead to a loss of job and income
· If equipment is not stored correctly and left where it was used last, it could lead to injury of animals or people and could lead to loss of income
· If faulty equipment is not reported and repaired it could lead to injury of animals or people
· If no record is being kept of new or used stock the budget will become irrelevant and will lead to loss of income for the organization
· All equipment, stock and materials should be stored correctly in case of emergency where time is of the essence
· Correctly label all products stored to prevent any misunderstanding
· Always be aware of equipment, stock and material numbers to prevent loss or theft
· If products are not labeled correctly it would be impossible to know when expiry dates have been exceeded
· Always store dry products in a cool, dry place to prevent pests such as beetles or mold to damage it
· Label products correctly to know the correct way of waste disposal
